By all accounts, research on clean water technology and renewable energy sources is going to be a major area of focus in the coming years, given the global implications of finding workable solutions.  To this end, we are in the process of developing experimental kits which will leverage our understand of thin-film technology, and crowdsourcing to allow students in the STEM pipeline to help find solutions to these problems.  Namely, these kits will focus on enhancing the SODIS process, and generating Hydrogen by splitting water using sunlight.
