{"id":677,"date":"2017-10-13T09:12:40","date_gmt":"2017-10-13T13:12:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/instras.com\/?page_id=677"},"modified":"2025-08-15T12:45:23","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T16:45:23","slug":"pc-connectivity","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/instras.com\/index.php\/pc-connectivity\/","title":{"rendered":"Connectivity Options"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Connecting the SCK-300 kits to a Desktop Computer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the new Motor Interface Module (MiM), it&#8217;s now possible to use a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B07TXVRQ7V\">USB to TTL Serial Adapter<\/a> to allow for computer control of the SCK kits.&nbsp;You can also use a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B072LX3VG1\">Serial Bluetooth Module<\/a> to make wireless connections from a&nbsp; Bluetooth enabled PC, or mobile device.&nbsp; Please see the <a href=\"http:\/\/instras.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/MiM-PC-Mode-Protocol-Description-v3.pdf\">Instructions<\/a>&nbsp;for more information, including list of control commands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a connection is established to the MiM, then simple control programs can be written is various languages (Python, .Net, Java etc &#8230;) which support Serial Port communications. All that&#8217;s required is that DX-BT24 modules be configured to use the 19,200 baud rate and be wired up to power and the male\/female USB 2.0 cables correctly.
